Space Candy

Space Candy is the name of our little business, we are a local married couple from Shelburne, Nova Scotia.

We currently sell Freeze Dried Candy in 6 locations across Shelburne County!

Freeze drying is when we take your favorite candy and place them in a freeze dryer where they are frozen to -40.

Once the treats are frozen. The machines dryer creates a powerful vacuum, slightly warming the food, making the ice transition into vapor and all the water is drawn out of the food.

This process can take 20 plus hours, turning sticky candy into a light and airy treat where gummy candy melts in your mouth, and ice cream becomes crunchy.

Freeze drying enhances flavour, recreating a delicious snack.
